Terms of Use

1. Apple Standard EULA

The licence to download and use the Rate Atlas iOS app is governed by the Apple Standard EULA, together with the applicable Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions. We do not provide a custom App Store EULA.

These Terms of Use govern the Rate Atlas service, including currency information, exchange-rate alerts, subscriptions, and other service features. They should be read together with our Privacy Policy.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use Rate Atlas. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you confirm that your parent or legal guardian has reviewed these Terms of Use.

3. Subscriptions and lifetime purchase

Rate Atlas may offer auto-renewable subscriptions and a one-time lifetime purchase. Prices, billing periods, introductory offers, and included features are displayed in the Apple purchase flow before you confirm a transaction.

• Payment is charged to your Apple ID account after purchase confirmation.
• Subscriptions renew automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID subscription settings. Deleting the App does not cancel a subscription.
• Purchases, restoration, and entitlement access are processed through Apple and RevenueCat. Refund requests are handled by Apple under its applicable policies.

4. App features and availability

Rate Atlas can show currency data, retain cached data for limited offline use, and let eligible users create exchange-rate alerts. An alert is delivered only when the device has network access, notifications are authorised, APNs is available, and the relevant rate data can be obtained. Features may change, be interrupted, or be discontinued where reasonably necessary for security, legal, technical, or operational reasons.

5. Currency rates and your decisions

Our current exchange-rate source is FxRatesAPI. Rates are supplied through our service for general information only and may be delayed, incomplete, or inaccurate. Verify rates, fees, timing, and all other relevant information before making any exchange, payment, investment, or other financial decision. Do not rely on Rate Atlas as the sole source of information for a financial transaction.

6. Acceptable use

You must not misuse the App or its service; interfere with its operation or security; bypass App Attest, subscription, or access controls; use automated means to scrape or overload the service; or use the App in violation of applicable law or third-party rights.

7. Ownership

Rate Atlas, its design, branding, code, and content are owned by Ausianovich Kanstantsin or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. No ownership rights are transferred to you.

8. Third-party services

The App depends on Apple services, RevenueCat, DigitalOcean-hosted infrastructure, push-notification services, and exchange-rate providers. Those services have their own terms and privacy practices. We are not responsible for third-party services or information supplied by them.

9. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Rate Atlas is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not guarantee that currency data, alerts, or any feature will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, error-free, or suitable for a particular purpose.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ausianovich Kanstantsin is not liable for losses arising from financial decisions, missed alerts, lost data, or use of or inability to use Rate Atlas. Nothing in these Terms of Use excludes or limits liability or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

10. Governing law and consumer rights

These Terms of Use are governed by the laws of the Republic of Lithuania. If you are a consumer, you retain the mandatory protections of the law of the country where you habitually reside. Nothing in these Terms of Use limits rights that cannot be waived under applicable consumer law.

We will publish the updated version here with a new effective date and provide advance notice of material changes where required by law.
